- Work Underway At Great Southern Shopping Center

- Columbus, Ohio — Concurrent with the addition of a new 110,000 square foot Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse on Columbus, Ohio's southside, the redevelopment and expansion of Great Southern Shopping Center is also underway. The Don M. Casto Organization, developer and owner of Great Southern, announces the addition of new White Castle and KFC/A&W restaurants at Great Southern. The new KFC/A&W concept is the first of its kind in the Columbus market. Additionally, Pizza Hut is expanding and relocating its Great Southern operation. Service will continue at its current location until construction of the new building is completed. In addition, approximately 60,000 square feet of new retail shop space is being added to the center contiguous to the new Lowe's. Great Southern, built in 1957 and expanded and remodeled in 1994, is anchored by Wal-Mart, Kroger and Big Bear and is the major shopping destination for south Columbus, Grove City, Obetz and Groveport.
