CASTO Continues Disposition and Acquisition Activities in January

Columbus, OH — CASTO, one of the country's leading real estate organizations, recently sold Monroe Shopping Center and Whitehall Medical Center, both in Columbus, Ohio. The firm also acquired Shaw's grocery store, which is currently under construction in Waterbury, Vermont. "January has been an exciting month for CASTO," said Don M. Casto, III, principal at CASTO. "In addition to our joint venture with Investcorp, these transactions demonstrate our commitment to growth through new development, acquisitions and strategic partnerships." Monroe Shopping Center is an 11,188 square foot shopping center located in the Franklinton area of Columbus. Whitehal Medical Center is a 50,550 square foot health care facility located in east Columbus. When construction is complete, Shaw's will be a 50,000 square foot freestanding grocery store.
